About Me

Once upon a time the days seemed long and years didn’t end.  I’m Baltimore born and North Carolina bred and come from a huge, life-giving family.  As the oldest of 6, I remember playing with sticker balls from the tree in the front yard of my suburban home growing up and kicking off my saddle shoes after school to get my homework done before musical theater.

All of a sudden, as a mom of 3 wild boys and a curly-haired girl, time is fleeting and I am determined to make it last forever.  In between all the tiny toes and growing children, I have found a piece of myself that was waiting to be uncovered. Photography allows me to capture moments big and small for families that, like me, are begging time to stand still.  My kids and husband are my why. They are who inspire me to chase this dream and to pour into this art.  My hope is that no mama who craves to keep their babies small will go without treasures of their good ole days.

Memories are often made in the midst of the chaos and my passion is documenting stories as they unfold so families have something tangible to look at years from now and will stir up memories of just how crazy and amazing those moments really were.
