When I first started visiting Disney with my family, food was definitely not at the top of my list.
I mean, I loved a Mickey-shaped snack as much as the next person, but when I thought about Disney, I thought about the rides, the characters, the fireworks and all of the experiences that make a Disney vacation feel so magical.
I never expected to become quite so invested in the Disney food scene.
But once you start looking beyond the classic Mickey pretzel and popcorn, you realize just how massive—and surprisingly good—the food world at Disney really is. Between Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Disneyland Paris and even Disney Cruise Line, I have had the chance to try quite a few memorable meals, snacks, desserts and drinks over the years.
And as someone who considers herself a foodie, there are some that have genuinely stuck with me.
This list is definitely not all-inclusive. There are still so many Disney restaurants and snacks I haven’t tried, and I already have a running list of things I want to eat on our next trip. But if you asked me today to name 10 of my favorite things I’ve eaten or drank at a Disney property, these are the ones that immediately come to mind.
1. Cookie Dough Brownie Ice Cream Sandwich at Terra Treats – Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Let’s start with dessert because… priorities.
The Cookie Dough Brownie Ice Cream Sandwich at Terra Treats in Disney’s Animal Kingdom went viral, and after trying it myself, I completely understood why.
It is essentially everything you want in one ridiculously indulgent Disney treat: layers of brownie and vanilla ice cream covered with edible cookie dough and chocolate chips. Disney currently lists it on the Terra Treats menu, and at the time of writing, it is an $8.29 treat.
And it is BIG.
This is not the little ice cream sandwich you grab and quietly eat while walking through the park. This is the kind of Disney snack that you look at and immediately think, We should probably share this.
Of course, whether or not you actually want to share it is another question.
For a cookie dough lover like me, this one absolutely lived up to the hype.
Foodie rating: Worth the hype.
2. Coconut Cold Brew at Kusafiri – Disney’s Animal Kingdom

I am a huge Joffrey’s coffee fan, and when we’re at Disney, I pretty much need a cold brew every day.
There is something about walking into the parks with a coffee in hand that makes me feel like the Disney day has officially begun.
But the coconut cold brew at Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery in Animal Kingdom was a particularly good one.
It had that delicious coconut flavor with milk and sweetened condensed milk, creating a sweet, creamy cold coffee that felt just a little more special than my everyday cold brew.
Disney’s current menu describes it as Joffrey’s cold brew flavored with coconut, milk and a sweetened condensed milk syrup, with Amarula cream liqueur in the alcoholic version.
And my perfect Animal Kingdom breakfast?
Coconut cold brew + a Mickey cinnamon roll.
Grab those, find a spot to sit for a few minutes, and you are ready to take on a long park day.
3. The Ocean Moon Bowl at Satu’li Canteen – Disney’s Animal Kingdom

If you had told me years ago that one of my favorite meals at Disney would be a poke bowl, I probably would have laughed.
But then I discovered Satu’li Canteen in Pandora.
As a poke bowl lover, I was honestly shocked by how much I enjoyed this meal. The combination of fresh tuna, colorful vegetables and those gorgeous blue noodles made this feel completely different from what I expected to find at a theme park quick-service restaurant.
And that is one of the things I love about Disney food.
You can be in the middle of a theme park surrounded by rides and characters and suddenly sit down to something that feels genuinely creative and thoughtfully put together.
Satu’li Canteen is still one of the Disney quick-service restaurants I would happily return to again and again. Disney describes it as a fast-casual restaurant featuring international-inspired cuisine, fresh vegetables, grains and hearty proteins.
I paired my bowl with a Trader Sam’s-inspired drink, and it made for one of those lunches that actually left me feeling ready to keep going instead of completely weighed down.
This is one of my must-eats at Animal Kingdom.
4. Crème Brûlée Croissant at Gaston’s Tavern – Magic Kingdom

On one of our Magic Kingdom mornings, we rope-dropped Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and then conveniently found ourselves near Gaston’s Tavern in Fantasyland.
And that turned out to be a very good decision.
The Crème Brûlée Croissant is exactly what it sounds like: a crispy croissant filled with vanilla custard and topped with a crunchy sugary crust.
Basically, someone took a classic French pastry and gave it a Disney vacation makeover.
Disney’s current menu still lists the Crème Brûlée Croissant, describing it as a crisp croissant pastry filled with vanilla custard.
It was such an elevated little breakfast treat—and exactly the kind of unexpected Disney food find that makes me want to keep exploring.
5. Wayfinder Burger at Wailulu Bar & Grill – Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

I love a good burger. And I especially love a good smashburger, so when we heard about the Wayfinder Burger at the new Wailulu Bar & Grill at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, we knew we had to try it.
Two smashed patties. American cheese. Onion jam. Volcano sauce. And a sweet bun.
It’s basically my kind of burger with a Hawaiian-inspired Disney twist.
Disney’s current menu describes the Wayfinder Burger as two pressed patties with American cheese, onion jam and Volcano sauce on a sweet bun. Y’all, this burger delivered.
If you’re staying at Disney or resort hopping and want a really good burger outside the parks, this is one I’d put on the list.
6. Mickey Churro Waffles – Disney Cruise Line & Walt Disney World

I love a good churro.
I love Mickey waffles.
So naturally, combining the two was going to be a win.
The Mickey Churro Waffles are cinnamon-and-sugar-crusted Mickey-shaped waffles that taste like the best parts of a churro and a waffle had a baby.
And they don’t really need anything else.
No syrup.
No whipped cream.
Just that crispy cinnamon-sugar coating.
We first tried these on the Disney Cruise Line Wish, and I was immediately obsessed. You can also find them at breakfast at The Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom, and Disney has since expanded their availability to additional locations.
For someone who loves churros, this might be the ultimate Disney breakfast.
7. Truffled Ahi Tuna at GEO-82 – EPCOT

During our adults-only Disney trip for Jollywood Nights, we spent some time at EPCOT during the Food & Wine Festival and decided to check out GEO-82, the sophisticated 21+ lounge tucked beside Spaceship Earth.
And this is where Disney food starts feeling a little more like a culinary experience than theme park food.
One of our favorite small bites was the Truffled Ahi Tuna.
Every bite had so much flavor from the Japanese whisky-soy-truffle ponzu, nori, sushi rice, daikon and black sesame seeds. Disney’s current menu still features the dish as one of GEO-82’s small plates.
We enjoyed it alongside specialty cocktails, and it was such a fun adults-only Disney experience.
Sometimes Disney food is about the giant dessert.
Sometimes it’s about a really good little plate of ahi tuna while sipping a cocktail next to Spaceship Earth.
I’ll take both.
8. Cookie Dough Cake at The Cake Bake Shop – Disney’s BoardWalk

One night after a long Disney day, we were heading back toward our hotel and stopped at The Cake Bake Shop on Disney’s BoardWalk.
We decided to grab a slice of the cookie dough cake.
And when I say a slice, I mean a slice that could very easily feed the entire family.
The Cake Bake Shop is known for its elaborate, decadent desserts, and the bakery currently offers cakes, cookies, pies, macarons, brownies and other sweets.
The cookie dough cake was layer upon layer of vanilla chocolate chip cake with generous amounts of cookie dough between the layers.
It was rich.
It was decadent.
It was completely unnecessary after a full day of Disney food.
And I would absolutely order it again.
Sometimes vacation calories don’t count.
Especially when they’re shared with six people.
9. Dr. Falls Signature Steak at Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen – Magic Kingdom

This might be one of the biggest surprises on my list.
Steak at Magic Kingdom? Really?
Yes.
The Dr. Falls Signature Steak at Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen was seriously impressive.
We had a huge portion of grilled steak served with fingerling potatoes, seasonal vegetables and a tamari glaze, along with the other flavors that make Skipper Canteen’s menu so unique.
Disney currently describes the dish as a marinated grilled steak served lomo saltado-style with fingerling potatoes, seasonal vegetables, tamari glaze and aji amarillo aioli.
It was flavorful, filling and felt like a legitimate restaurant meal—not just something I ordered because I happened to be hungry in the middle of a theme park day.
For a foodie, Skipper Canteen is one of those Disney restaurants worth slowing down for.
And this steak is the reason.
10. Champagne on Main Street – Disneyland Paris

And finally, one that isn’t really about the food at all.
It’s about the experience.
During our visit to Disneyland Paris, one of my absolute bucket-list moments was having a glass of champagne on Main Street, U.S.A.
And yes, it was every bit as magical as I hoped it would be.
There is something surreal about sitting on Main Street, sipping champagne and looking toward the beautiful Disneyland Paris castle.
Disneyland Paris is particularly special for this because champagne is available right on Main Street, U.S.A.—a detail that makes this such a fun experience for adult Disney fans and foodies.
It wasn’t necessarily the most delicious thing I consumed on our trip.
But it might be the one I remember the longest.
And sometimes that’s what Disney food is really about.
Disney Food Has Become Part of the Magic for Me
When we first started visiting Disney as a family, I never would have guessed how much I would come to love the food.
But now, when I plan a Disney trip, I’m not just thinking about which rides we want to do or which characters the kids want to meet.
I’m also thinking about what we’re going to eat.
Which restaurant are we going to try?
Where can we find the best coffee?
What new cocktail or dessert has appeared since our last visit?
And which old favorite do we absolutely have to have again?
That’s one of the things I love most about Disney. There is always something new to discover.
And this list is only the beginning.
These are just 10 of my favorite Disney food and drink experiences so far, but I’m always looking for the next thing to try.
So tell me—what Disney food or drink do you think I need to try next?
Because I am always accepting recommendations.
Especially the delicious ones.
